Don’t Drink … Gamble!

If you like to have a cocktail every once in a while, keep your money at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Empty your handbag, your money belt, and leave all money, plastic credit and checks at home. Only take whatever cash you intend to spend on drinks, tips and few dollars you anticipate to lose and leave the remainder behind.

Cynical? Not at all. Just realistic. You may well experience a success after a inebriated night out with your comrades and be blessed sufficiently to hit a 25 minute roll at a hot craps game. Keep that story considering that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink alcohol and gamble. The pair just don’t mix.

Leaving your moolah back at the hotel might be a tiny bit drastic, but preventative measures for excessive behavior is required. If you gamble to win, then do not drink alcohol and gamble. If you like to blow your $$$$ nary a concern, then consume all the complimentary booze your stomach are able to handle, but don’t pack credit cards and cheques to toss into the mix of following losses after your inebriated brain loses all the cash!

Allow me to take this a single step further. Don’t drink and then jump on to the internet to gamble in your preferred internet casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the comfort of my condominium, however due to the fact that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards at my fingertips, I can’t consume alcohol and bet.

What’s the reason? Although I do not consume alcohol to excess, when I consume alcohol, it is clearly enough to befuddle my common sense. I bet, so I don’t drink alcohol when betting. If you are a drinker, do not wager at the same time. Both make for an awful, and expensive, drink.
